You're a lowdown, yellow-bellied, lily- livered excuse for a poker player.

I think he was hitting on you , you should slip him your number next time you see him so you can stick it in his liver if you catch my drift

I assume its some sort of corruption of being punched in the liver. this is one of the most painful and incapacitating punches in boxing/mma.

Guess the section doesn't have too much news, views, or gossip Sometimes it's nice to have somewhere quiet though - it's such a hidden gem!

So I received an email from Stars today asking me to fill out an online survey. They said:

"PokerStars cares deeply about your experience with our products and services. That’s why we would like to invite you to help us improve them by completing our Customer Experience Survey.

Your feedback is tremendously important and we are going to study your response in detail to help us better understand how to enhance the PokerStars experience.

The survey will take a few minutes to complete and we really appreciate you taking the time to answer our questions.
"

I've filled these out before and I was always happy to do it. This is the first time I'm not doing it. I no longer believe that PokerStars cares at all about my experience there. I believe it is a waste of time to even try to give them any input. It's bizarre that they seem to be interested in my opinion yet they completely ignored all of my input about MTTs that were removed that I used to play every day, ignored all of my input about anything really.

It's kind of sad. It's like ending a long-term relationship.

Spoiler:
Is this the right thread for this?

Do you think someone actually reads the individual surveys?

I honestly think they don't care, so why would they read them? Which begs the question, why even send them?

I can answer this question. Even if one goes with the Henry Ford theory ("If I had asked people what they wanted, they would have said faster horses.") there are still real benefits to making customers feel like they are being listened to in terms of customer retention and recommendations.

Whether that works for Amaya at present is another question but then not all their customers are on 2p2 so it may well work with some.

Desmond has a card room in the vegas place
Molly buys her chipstack 50 grand
Desmond says to Molly that's a poker face
And Molly smiles and then she slowrolls the best hand

Ob-La-De Oh-Ma-Ha 5 card draw.. Brag!
All night the card games go on
Ob-La-De Oh-Ma-Ha 5 card draw.. Brag!
All night the card games go on

Desmond takes his wallet to the jeweler's store
Pawns a twenty carat golden ring
Takes it back to Molly waiting on the floor
And when he bets the river she puts him all in

Ob-La-De Oh-Ma-Ha 5 card draw.. Brag!
All night the card games go on
Ob-La-De Oh-Ma-Ha 5 card draw.. Brag!
All night the card games go on

Happy ever after in the Vegas place
Molly lets the railbirds see her hand
Desmond goes on tilt and shoves his high card ace
And by the evening he's lost much more than he planned.

Ob-La-De Oh-Ma-Ha 5 card draw.. Brag!
All night the card games go on
Ob-La-De Oh-Ma-Ha 5 card draw.. Brag!
All night the card games go on

And if you want some fun....
Deal Ace King Queen Jack Ten.

I don't know specifically about pokerstars, but recently I have filled an online survey for a product that easly has millions of users and comes from one of the biggest companies in the world after which I have received this email:

Hello <me>,
Last month, you had rated <one of their features> performance as 3 out of 5, and mentioned that it was OK to contact you.
My team is currently working on optimizing <their tool> performance for the next release. I would like to specifically understand issues that you are encountering so that our engineering team can address the appropriate issues.
Is it OK to have a 30-minute conference call with you to understand your experience and expectations?
Couple of other engineers would also join the call, and it would be super useful for improving <our pcoduct>.

I was in the Aria bathroom the other day when I ran into none other than Todd Brunson! He was handling his business in the stall next to me. We chit chatted and caught up on some things before him telling me he is quitting poker! Before none other than Phil Brunson came out of the other stall in his scooter to say hello and argue that it's not true.

Who should I believe?
