I like chat threads. Always wondered about his screenname. Is it meant to be read as Nuts in ho?

w/e he's right about kidpoker when it comes to NLHE... he is about 5 times better than he used to be... but he still whips out some really weird LOL Live Player thought processes sometimes... see his WSOP blog for examples.

Nope....
From pokertableratings,
"Richard 'nutsinho' Lyndaker originally intended his screenname to have a Portuguese pronunciation (nut-seen-yo). However, the controversial English pronunciation (nuts-in-ho) has caught on in the poker community."

Nutsinho is pronounced "Nut Seen Yo" in portugese (or however you spell portugal).
It says that on Nutsinho's ptr profile.

Yes, it's true I whip out some weird plays. I'm learning and trying out new things and sometimes they are really bad and come off stupid and illogical. I'm aware of that.
I don't think the hand against nutsinho was all that weird. Maybe I'm supposed to fold before the flop, but if felt like we were deep enough to make the call in position 250 bbs deep with 79 suited. After that, I guess I could have raised the flop but I planned on raising a lot of turns if I missed. Turn was great, giving me more outs so it seemed like I had to take a shot at it then and hope he folds a big pair. He made a great read, I hit one of my 15 outs. Doesn't seem like I played it atrocious or anything.
10,585 hands
+$194,151.30
bb/100 9.17
I know that's not a large sample size yet, but it's becoming more relevant by the day, and I'm not playing against suckers here. These guys are all really good so I'm proud of my results and how I'm playing. I've learned a ton.

Re: nutsinho tells kidpoker he still hasn't learned how to play poker
If nutsinho, Durrr or Ivey would have taken DN's line it would have went down as a smooth play. DN made a big semi-bluff and got called light but got lucky on the river. Nutsinho was just sour because he felt DN played him in regards to the "big game" and because his 1 pair hero call didnt work out. I cannot even tell you how many times I have made big calls like that or induced stupid bluffs while taking shots at bigger games or cash hu only for my opponent to nail runner runner and send my ego and b-roll down the f-ing drain. I know nutsinho is a very strong player but whether he is willing to admit it or not he is incredibly lucky to be where he is at today in part to running +ev in those type of spots. It's all about timing. Oh and in after Daniel Negraneu!!!!!!!!!!!!! You good people man, stay true.
