i think isil is actually pretty conservative with his three bet range, and is certainly not as happy to play them out of position as durrrr. he also seems to find it very easy to get away from these hands if he doesn't see a flop he likes, often seen him insta-fold to a bet on the flop after a lot of action pre.

That was a nice call, right when that river card peeled I was wondering if it is too thin for PA to value bet 5-8 if he has it here, and what I'd do with 5-8 if I was in isildur's spot. Cool hand.

Re: **** November High Stakes Thread ****
Enjoyed Megenoita's post.
I agree with it. This guy has an obsession with playing HU4ROLL. It's like he's traumatized of going broke multiples times and he wants others to feel the same pressure. He sees a cash game like a HUSNG. He really wants to win it, leaving nothing behind. That's why I doubt he did any sort of cash outs.
He's not normal. It's like he learned poker on a different planet. It reminds me of Tom's first appearances in HS games. Everyone saying how he was lucky, but he was clearly outplaying everyone, re-thinking things that pros would take for granted. Interesting.
It reminds me of Cole South's 4 bet shove experiment when 3 bets were the new thing on the block. I dunno why though. Isildur is kind of like saying : You all play perfect +Ev poker, I don't care, I'm going to make your life harder, I don't care about the money, we're going out of your comfort zone.

Playe like this rely make him tough to play. Not sure what to make of it is it genius or fish. Turns a hand with great showdown value given action into a bluff. In NL he actually seems to always get colled by worse so it become v-bet bluff lol.

Yeah I think thats part of it to. He definitely can get away from the hands where he is 3 betting light, but his opponents have not been able to do so as consistently. It's like there is such a fine line between getting run over by him and getting committed to hands that are crushed.
