Just got back from Macau, saw Roebl and Ben Lamb at the Wynn initially playing 300/600 NLHE and then they opened up 100/200 PLO so they went to that.

Saturday night I saw a disgusting nosebleed game with Chinese Businessmen and that guy who final tabled the one drop at Star World. Began with 20,000/40,000 blinds and I heard it got bumped to 40,000/80,000 after a bit.

Poker is fun!

Of course it was HKD, that's how we roll in Macau.

Re: Nosebleed Cash Games at APT Macau (Dwan, Patrik, Trickett, Ivey back in action)

Back in Macau for APT. Played a few sessions of HKD5k/HKD5K PLO whilst the main game of 20k/40k NLHE was running next to me. Managed to squeeze out a winning PLO session which is extremely rare for me. Couple of 2m-3m all in pots. AK AJ double suited loses to 5,6,7,8 all in pre flop was a typical one. The HK$2m + HK$2m rebuy tournament now confirmed and approved for 31st August in Macau, now that will be fun.

Thanks for posting Tom, as always. Any chance of letting us know who's playing in the big games? (Pros of course, obv want to keep the businessmen's privacy)

What tournament is that/and where, not connected to any tournament series held by Pokerstars/Grand Waldo?

Is that the tournament that sam trickett tweeted about and has an optional re/buy/re-entry?

I don't think there is a single casino in Macau that uses Patacas at the table. Casinos aside, HKD is just as (perhaps more, with the exception of coins) accepted as Pataca in Macau.
