Big thanks to Neptune/Poker King Club/PokerAce/Starworld Casino/APT and anyone else I'm forgetting for organizing this event. I was lucky enough to play in the first couple tournaments in Nov 2007 in Macau (run by other people) and this was far and away a much better run tournament. (Sorry Matt - you were great but some of those dealers at the time were crazy!).

I've played in tournaments all around the world and for a tournament with such a short time for logistics, they did a great job of handling all the small logistical details that most people wouldn't notice.

I think we're so used to having so much information from so many different outlets that sometimes we forget that it's difficult to organize all that stuff without much notice, especially in Macau. Sure every tournament has issues but they corrected any that came up really fast. Tom Hall's expression when he thought that the tournament was playing with cash game chips was priceless though. (they weren't but the chips looked similar)

Oh and for the person that ended up falling up off the stage because of my A6hh hand, I hope you're ok today. You and Robl fell hard and it totally took my mind off the allin. It was a crazy couple minutes to say the least. Who would have thought that rails would be smart when you have a tall stage with chairs on top of it next to a featured table? lol

400/800 deep with ante.

Which means people could buy-in for 200,000 to start.

Which would be insane.

I only went to Wynn on the last night, was on the list of 27 players for nlhe, ended up going over to starworld and didn't go back to Wynn. so not sure about the PLO there.

Can someone please inform me of the different games/stakes offered in Macau, and by casino too. On top of that is there English speaking people there for translation. Like how could I get a room at the casino? But seriously looking for some helpful information.

There is a ŽAsk me questions about MacauŽ (or something like that) thread in the travel section of this forum. I'm sure someone could provide a link, lots of useful info there.
