High Stakes poker now in 3D and hosted by Norm McDonald...it sounds like a level. I wonder if he's going to even try and call the action or just make jokes the whole time. Of course without the likes of Dwan, Ivey and Antonius calling the action should be much easier for him. There's not even any Hellmuth or Tony G value. Who said RIP High Stakes Poker? That.

Norm Mcdonald? I am not hating on the guy but this is such a random pick.

I'll only watch episodes that have hellmuth, Galfond or Tony G. I can only handle so much Pokerstars sponsored show.

RIP HSP lol

Dwan Vs Ivey hand last season was best hand of poker I've ever watched and the next season these two guys aren't even on it. So LOL.

I have a buddy who works on the show. Basically, as soon as PokerStars announced their sponsorship, all the FTP Pros took a pass. He did say the 3D looks surprisingly good.

Good to see Haralabob back in there. Depressing there will be no Ivey/Dwan.

Bill Perkins was on The Big Game, most well known in my heart for eviscerating Hellmuth (yelling at him and pointing out that he has trunks of money and Fishman was a school teacher). As an avid Poker TV watcher, NONE of those other names seem familiar whatsoever. At least four of them have never played on TV before. The Million Dollar Cash Game (where you can see Ivey/Dwane) and The Big Game will most likely surpass High Stakes in terms of content, but who knows.. I'm definately not "excited" about Norm Macdonald, would have preferred Norman Chad TBH.

Norm is very funny but without someone else in the booth with him this is potentially very scary. I like how GSN is trying new things with HSP but the biggest mistake is not having 2 people doing the commentary.

I am excited to see Chan and Haralabob return, makes up for losing Dwan and Ivey a little bit.

I was wondering when they'd finally put poker in 3-D, it's just what the game needed on TV. Nothing like seeing someone fold their hand in 3-D.

Norm has a more specific style of humor that not everyone likes. The poker players will like it moreso than the general public imo (I still think the gen pop will like it just not to the same degree as players).

Also, +1 on this lineup being lame.

I'll be the first to say that I will be tuning in just to hear/watch Norm.

I haven't watched HSP regualry in a while, but having Norm McDonald is reason enough to watch.

When does Season 7 air?
