The NY Senate is set to vote on an online poker bill today.
Over in the Assembly, Gary Pretlow has indicated that he won't hold a vote for online poker.
But, this being lawmaking, there are ways to pass a bill without passing a bill;
the PPA is suggesting that online poker could find its way into an omnibus bill or a similar mechanism to get around Pretlow's roadblock in the Assembly.
The DFS bill that is also in play in NY creates an interesting dynamic. Super-fluid situation. Hard to think of online poker as a favorite, but it does appear to be in the mix.
