I just came across this Netflix release film that was released today. Looks like it got great reviews from pretty notable critics. Pretty rare for a film centered around poker. Thought I would share.

Thanks for the heads up! Hopefully it has some great degen scenes like in Mississippi Grind where the ex-wife catches her degen husband rifling through her underwear drawer looking for cash!!

Haven't watched the film yet but interesting article thanks for sharing. Sounds kind of like a cross between Rounders, Simple Plan, and Cincinnati Kid, from the synopsis.

Not much poker but not a bad degen movie. Key from key and Peele is in it and there are a few funny parts. Seems like a typical indy film.

it was pretty meh. Id say if your gonna watch it, watch it in the background or loosely. Dont intently watch it, imo it will disappoint that way.
