Paulie from Goodfella's lending money to degenerates who get threatened by a guy with an axe. Seems about right.

According to IMDB the running time of this film is 1hr 20min. Not a good sign.

Looking at the IMDB page it looks like it's being made by some guys who are new to the industry, it's basically the writer's and director's first or 2nd film of their career, probably an independent movie, and this trailer shows that, but who knows, maybe it will turn out to be a new Reservoir Dogs and surprise us all with unique dialogue and style, but I highly doubt that. It's probably going to suck and I'm going to end up watching it before bed because it's 80 minutes long.

Paulie might have moved slow, but it was only because Paulie didn't have to move for anybody.

For those of you laughing at the chips here's a true story:

In the mid 90's a group of us from the Manhattan clubs discovered a game run by Greeks in Queens. Small but nice room, fantastic food. One day I was walking in Manhattan down a random street and passed a gambling supply store w/ the very same chips the Greeks used in the window. I thought 'Free money, Greek mobsters. Free money, Greek mobsters'………..and kept on walking.

I wouldn't have bought them anyway, tbh, but you'd have to be insane to try to smuggle in chips in a game run by 'those people.'

This is the kind of movie where I expect the villain to have his Aces full beaten by the hero's gutshot straight flush.

Noticed the cheap plastic chips too. I think I have the same set.
