$9.99/month for the "Essential plan":

- All the features of the basic plan.
- 1 video a month from Phil Galfond.
- Access to the Essential Pros.

$99.99/month for the "Elite plan":

- All the features of the essential plan.
- Get every video by Phil Galfond.
- Full access to the Essential and Elite Pros.

How successful it will be likely will depend on how often Phil makes videos, and how much access you actually get to the site pros.

Seems like a tough time to be launching an online poker training site though, imo... plenty of competition, no US market to speak of, dwindling/segregated markets elsewhere in the world.

On the positive side, the site does seem to be very well done, and isn't just another "video site with forums". Some real work was put into designing and implementing the site.

That doesn't look to be the case... yes, the page you enter the credit card on is non-secure, but what matters is what protocol is used to actually submit it over the wire.

It looks like they are using Stripe https://stripe.com to do the credit card transactions, so it should be fine, and quite secure.

I do agree that from a perception point of view, the payment page probably should be https, though.

Yeah that's Stripe's new feature, the embedded and secure web form.

For sure, whatever might be going on behind the scenes, I don't enter a credit card number when https is not being used. Major gap.

I take this back. Stripe docs recommend SSL (https://stripe.com/help/ssl) even for Stripe Button (https://stripe.com/docs/button).

lol at $100/month

all thats going to do is cause people to share passwords.

And theres no way these pros who make big money are going to sit around and answer stupid forum questions all day.

there will be good discussion for like a month, then thats it
