Alex, I've just been playing the HoldemX Alpha.
Where is there some kind of feedback site?

Not sure this should be in the GPL thread either.

Why? Before your awards last year when we tried to alert you to this specific problem (via email) your reply was that it was not your fight. Or is my memory off?

Best wishes,

dear lord.

first the wheels fall off PokerStars juggernaut.

Then 2+2 goes completely full on bat **** crazy.

Poker confirmed a thing of the past.

Unsubscribe from NVG.

Been fun though while it lasted.

I just checked, it was AFTER the awards that we had our exchange about you not being happy that 2,200 people voted for Negreanu. The fight between you and him, is not mine and I don't want to be dragged in. My focus is to promote poker and players.

I'm fine to take heat on decisions I take, but I can't be blamed for everything. Blame Amaya Its always the fault of Amaya

I suggest you reread the email I sent you on Nov 23, 2014 at 9:01 PM which was over four months before your awards dinner. If you can't find it, I can send you a copy.

And just to set the record straight, we at Two Plus Two do hope that you're successful with your sportifying poker because we believe it will have a positive effect on our game.

Hi LektorAJ:

You're more right about this than you realize since Dreyfuss has inquired about purchasing this website (and there's nothing wrong with making an inquiry). But it's not for sale, and we believe that keeping www.twoplustwo.com independent of other poker companies is in the best interest of the poker industry.

Best wishes,
Mason

What I object to is a party, who claim they want to remain independent, feeling they have the right to influence nominations in an awards ballot.

The apology to the 'poker community' should be coming from somewhere else.

Best wishes,
Pete

Just of curiosity, why would you air that in public? Is it really anyone's business. Seems very unprofessional of you, almost childish.

P.S. Will you ever forgive Dnegs for his sins. Let the anger go, it will set you free

P.P.S if you did want to sell 2+2, how much we talking? I mean, everyone has their price, right?

Mason will obviously speak for himself but about your general point I don't think its true that everyone has their price.

What kind of consumer items could you get with money that would be better than having your own thing that you have built yourself?

By the time Dreyfus unveiled the GPL / HoldemX roadplan for industry insiders during an October 2015 meeting in London the skeleton of HoldemX’s online platform had already taken shape.

HoldemX (early version) presented to Unibet, FullTilt, Pokerstars, 888, Microgaming, Ongame, Bwin & Playtech.
This makes me really sad. I really want to be positive about GPL/H-X but this makes it real hard man.

We have an industry with operators who have proven they clearly can't find a way to satisfy hardcore poker players (with maybe the exception of Unibet in recent years)... And your presenting opportunities to license to these providers??????? For real?!!!? Whaht?

I can't say I believe this to be action of someone who wants to pokerfy e-sports for hardcore poker players, given its clear (Crystal Clear) what hardcore online poker players need and the money grabs that have taken place over the last five years.

There's a massive opportunity here to print money for fun, for say maybe a couple of decades (if you do this right) and become a billionaire...by monopolizefying online poker in a new direction... and your considering handing this opportunity over to providers who will kill your game within say maybe 24 months by "rigging" rake/revenue models across the industry, inefficiently detecting bots, pissing off hardcore grinders.

I'm really disappointed about this and I don't want to be.

P.S. So this is what Negs was talking about being on the horizon at Stars regarding software on the Ingram podcasts?

Purchasing a little advertising at 2+2 for the Global Poker League might go a long way to smoothing out the waters.

Answering questions in a newsworthy topic is one thing. But it starts turning into an attempt to get free advertising when someone's posting the most by far in the thread, kicking it up several times a day like with the 'question' about Hearthstone, etc.

Honestly, there's so many posts by adreyfus being made with so little info, he probably would have been better off just waiting until something interesting develops to start posting more. But now that Mason's noticed his excessive posting, he should probably start buying some ads to smooth out the waters.

I have no bone in this and Holdem X/GPL will likely have no impact on my life one way or the other.

Alex has any website paid you any money over the past year?
If the answer is yes then this league will be slanted to their benefit and not necessarily to the benefit of players/poker.

If no one has paid you anything then I admire your courage and wish you the best of luck.

Sorry if you already covered this, but do the drafted players negotiate a salary with the owners the way a sports draftee does? Is it a set salary for all, or does the number one pick make more than the number 6 pick?

Thanks.

can't remember where i read it (could be poker fuse), but imo it was $100/hr plus expenses if the player has to travel. then shares of marketing (e.g. if a team sells shirts or whatever) as well as the potential championship money ($100k ????).

You can read the GPL contract for that info - http://www.globalpokerleague.com/wp-...Jan25-2016.pdf

Joe McKeehen tweeted earlier this week he had looked over the contract and decided to pass.

The number of people who are draft eligible is certainly well above expectations.
