Ipoker is not an American company. OP is not American. America, as hard as it might be to believe, has nothing to do with this. Please read b4 you post.

When they look at the average number of players from the UK in your SNGs, are they including you? Seriously, just post all correspondence. Also, need a little more info on badbeat.com, what your deal with them was, and whether ipoker were aware of the fact that you were playing on an account that was in somebody else's name.

Wow, although we can never know that the OP is 100% teling the truth, his post seems well written and seems to cover everything that has happened. I genuinely feel awful for you bigbrennan.
Gl with attempts at getting your money back.

That is probably exactly why they do it. Lol. Get lots of people playing more SnG's paying more rake. Then the odd occasion when some1 wins just say ****off you were colluding. lol.

thats the silliest argument ever, so basically whatever a company says is right, just because they have a "investigative team"? The whole point of courts IS to figure who is right or wrong!

I'm also pretty sure this happened before. I can't remember if it was ipoker. There was a big thread on twoplustwo. I think the site sent the details to an independent third party who ended up agreeing with the site.

fwiw it has been running for a long time and has been paid out a few times. Its not like something they just ran once until it was hit.
I agree it is a magnet for collusion though.

That is stupid. There is no invitation to cheat or steal. A bigger prize is not more reason to be a cheat. Cheaters cheat for any prize and honest people don't cheat regardless of the prize.
As to "inviting" collusion from the sites' end, they obviously believe they have sophisticated enough counter-measures and so they don't care if you collude. They'll just deny the prize.
I'm still stuck on their idea that having more UK players somehow indicates something. Do they not know that on the internet geographical boundaries mean nothing? If that is in any way important to their case then they need to reopen it. It is ridiculous.
