I am of the opinion that new players who are currently playing micros in the US on ACR have an extremely slim likelihood of moving up to 2knl. I play hu on ACR betcoin and ignition midstakes. Never made it past 600nl but in today's hu climate 400 hu is my safe zone. I would like to hear from anybody who has less than 5 years playing the game and has moved up playing 6max FR on US sites to at least 1k nl. How long did it take you?? I would also go as far to say the chances of moving up are actually better playing PLO vs HE. Thoughts? Views?
No SN is not outed. HU is most definitely not dead imo. The days of getting more than 4 tables are gone but still many bad players. I would say 70% of my non reg action is from rec 6 max players who come to HU to chase their losses. I tried doing 6 max but found WR was always in the double digits while 6max was a reg fest w everyone playing 20 and below vp. I know of one person at this time who was able to climb stakes to 1k nl from micros. Its kinda funny even Leatherass9 who still thinks his poo smells like cinnamon rolls was 2 tabling 200nl on ACR.
With the lower volume on ACR, a grinder probably has to be able to bink some of the large buyin MTTs a couple times a year to really have an opportunity to move up. Ability to profit across multiple formats on the site to get more volume and less variance.
