Unfortunately I think you posted this in the wrong forum. 90% of these people would superuse if they had the chance according the poll a few months.

It's definitely shady - unclear if you were cheatd but definitely shady. Based on the new cheating allegations to come to light abotu 100k-200k from one certain player was probably stolen from me. It's the only time I suspected being cheated in my life but the account was not in the list of superusers - but did receive a transfer from a super user account and is an old time Texas player.

Imagine if you did not log into your bank account within 6 months and they took all your money. If you knew exactly the balance prior and had proof you could get your money back, otherwise you would not. When you have money in any kind of account the holders of that account (bank or business) makes additional revenue off the balance. So not only should they not charge administrative fees they should give you interest for keeping the money in that account. If the account was deemed inactive a check should be cut and sent to the account owner, active or not. Instead they take your money!! Doesn't seem legal or fair right in any way. Do not play at UB!!

Interesting post, OP, seems to link in nicely with the claims in the Travis Makar thread. It's beyond insane that these scumbags are still the 6th largest poker network online.

But that 1k was NOT free money. If it was credited to OPs account for the superuser incident, it was compensation for being cheated. That means that the money is the same as a deposit...this isn't a freeroll for OP.

And you should feel pretty comfortable with the 1k, seeing as how they must have reviewed your HHs...or...ya know...90% of them.


Seriously though, do not think of this lightly just because it was credit OP didn't know about. I think if you backlog a little further in the story, it sounds more shady...

1. UB cheats OP and poker world.
2. UB denies.
3. UB is caught.
4. OP leaves site that cheated him.
5. UB eventually refunds OP for being cheated, but refuses to offer the evidence to the poker community.
6. Yoink! That compensation for being cheated? Forget about it. You don't like us anyway.

If this was a refund for money stolen by superusers then its his money ... its not "free".

Lets just go take 1k out of all the bank accounts of the people complaining about OP. If they notice, they can have a free 1k!

Read the T&C. They warn you plain and simple that if you leave your account for a certain period of time they will confiscate any remaining money and close the account.

You were lucky to get it back imo, and it's just another example of the awesome customer service at AP/UB. Instead of being paranoid and trying to start yet another mundane "ZOMG, AP/UB is like, totally corrupt!" thread you should be thankful as they probably didn't have to do it, but did.

The same thing happened to me less than a month ago. Got an email saying my balance was $346. I always get emails from UB but I never open them.

Tried to log on and it said account unavailable. Contact support. At the time I didn't play on the site since late Sept. Spoke to support directly, account was in good standing but no money. Balance was 0. Got an email 2 hours later saying $346 has been credited to my account.

I asked them why was it even 0 in the first place and they told me it was a security feature to keep my funds safe against hackers.

I don't think its something to worry about, and I never had to ask them for the money.

They've haven't acknowledged the question after it's been asked multiple times and a significant amount of time has passed. What's wrong with making a thread about it?
