MMA Poker After Dark
Just a PSA to let people know there's an MMA themed poker after dark that's been taped.
Randy Couture, Dan Henderson and Bruce Buffer representing MMA and Howard Lederer, Patrik Antonious and Erik Lindgren from FTP.
I don't normally watch the SNG versions of PAD anymore but this might be fun to watch.

Re: MMA Poker After Dark
I guess Bruce Buffer will fight Howard and Randy and Hendo can face off against Patrick and E-Dog. Hopefully knees to the head on the ground are allowed and no fights are stopped until 3 or more bones are broken. Should be some good fights.

Re: MMA Poker After Dark
Yup its gonna be an all out brawl...ROyal Rumble style! A palyer is eliminated after being thrown across the felt, over the table and onto the ground. Expect Players to team up to eliminate the heavier Proffesor first. after which everyone will be distracted by PA's good looks however Bruce Buffer, who is happily married to boxing announcer Michael Buffer, thus unfazed by PA's chizzled jaw and gorgeous colored eyes, shall sneak up on all them for the shocking upset! GG Mr. Buffer

Re: MMA Poker After Dark
I can't wait to see these uber aggressive MMA guys get on the poker table and aggro it up with limp after limp after limp!

Re: MMA Poker After Dark
I wouldn't characterize Randy Couture or Dan Henderson as uber aggressive guys. They are both pretty calm and subdued outside of the octagon. I just hope they both play better than Chuck did at the 2008 WSOP: Main Event (they can't play worse).
Buffer has some personality and can be entertaining.

Re: MMA Poker After Dark
Does Howard Lederer have to be on every single episode of PAD?!? I'm so sick of watching him go into the tank for 5 minutes on every hand

Lol, somebody else in a TV Poker PAD thread said they should just rename the show "Lederer After Dark"

Re: MMA Poker After Dark
Noooo, not Lol'derer again. this "no pokerstars sponsored players" thing kinda sucks, def hurting potential eclectic lineups.
elky, dario, eastgate, dn, barry, etc.
even more reason to look forward to HSP

Re: MMA Poker After Dark
Bruce can play well, both some success in tournaments, and does well
at least at 2-5NL at MGM/MB.
Matt Hughes is pretty tricky-he would represent mma well
Forrest is a fish.
Have never played with Randy, but he is very intelligent and disciplined
in business/fights, and would expect him to be a tough opponent.
Hendo, very likely to be happy to get all his chips in on a decent draw,
and enjoy the show.

Re: MMA Poker After Dark
I hope they play on one of those crappy octagon home style tables.
Throw a cage around it, maybe.

Re: MMA Poker After Dark
nice looking forward to this. forrest would make for real good tv. watching howard from PAD and high stakes he seems extremely boring and nitty. Tilts the hell out of me. It would funnier if somone like gavin smith or anyone but lederer was on.
