Mike you are very talented and have 70 to 80 years left hopefully you will find something you love or just do really good then flaking out. When I hire people I often get asked why I stay clear from 20 yr olds...this is why...they are quitters now.
he's not exactly quitting just lightening his workload and pursuing other interests. Don't people tend to change jobs every 4-5yrs? good on him for diversifying his skills and not just putting all his energy into poker

Good luck to you Timex. Sick brag having made millions by 20 and moving on to the next thing. Pretty sick IMO.

Also as for $ we dont need x to retire we can make money other ways theres a reason some of us excelled at poker those skill sets will translate well in life esp the reading people and understanding equity on levels most brokers don't even understand.
lol

Not sure why people still think that excelling in poker means you're super intelligent. Beating poker -- donkaments in particular now equates to being successful in stocks/investing? lol kk.

I really don't get the part about understanding "equity" on levels brokers don't understand. What does that even mean?

Anyway, good luck to both of you--the truth is that its a really tough and competitive world whichever way you slice it.
