Probably not many, most of it was at:

Battlefield Poker
Royal Card Club
Red Nines
Arctic Poker

If I ever get my 4k back I'm gonna spend it on the most ridiculous BS possible.

I vote for 4,000 copies of Moneymaker's book (must be some company with some left over they'd sell now for $1 each). Put them all on bookshelves at your house and whenever someone asks about them, respond with "I hate money".

As a fellow alum of my school, I feel sorry for bigt2k4, who had something like $400k stuck on there, which was like 80% or more of his roll.

Why would they not now?

Because there's undoubtedly a much larger amount of money involved this time, and Microgaming's market share has been in decline for a long time, so while I 100% agree they should do it this time, as well, I think they are unlikely to do so.

So what? Full Tilt Poker is an equally hokey name. Or Bodog Poker - what IS a Bodog, exactly?

That was Tusk/Casino Action's description, not eCOGRA's ( 1, 2)

If that number is true this is absolutely outrageous and not right. I feel so so bad for this guy.

hey guys I agree it's a great post that sums up this ****ty situation well, but I can't take credit for it. Caruso and soul rebel (and probably some others i apologize for missing) deserve the credit. I'm just the messenger.

Re: Microgaming poker scandal: licensee in liquidation, and poker players abandoned and owed $5
I barely followed this when it first broke, so maybe it's been mentioned a ton; but maybe Microgaming created/used Tusk for these newer skins to protect Microgaming from the liability of paying if they failed. Kinda like a buffer for the parent company.
It's odd that Micrograming would allow certain poker sites within it's network to be run by someone else (or at least by a different entity). Trying to figure out ownership of these sites is nauseating.
Maybe it was Microgaming equivalent of a 'minor league' to see if any of the skins would make money.
I'm sure there's tons more to the story that we'll never know.
Just rambling....

Re: Microgaming poker scandal: licensee in liquidation, and poker players abandoned and owed $5
I consider myself extremely fortunate that a friend advised that I switch to a different Microgaming skin about a month before this all happened. The switch wasn't made because he foresaw this...it was just a lucky coincidence that this site wasn't one of those 27-28 that got locked down...because I WAS with Arctic, and before that Battlefield.
I'm no longer with Microgaming at all, though.
