Re: Lock is Leaving Merge and Purchasing Cake

It's been awhile, but wasn't Lock formerly a Cake skin? Then they left for Merge and now they've come back to buy Cake?! Lulz. Crazy.

Re: Lock is Leaving Merge and Purchasing Cake

lock needs to utilize cake 1.0's software if they are taking it over. the cake 2.0 lobby, table, buttons, its all a mess compared to cake 1.0's software

The smart money would be to have min rolls on Merge, Revolution, and Bovada. Grind where it's max EV, and cash out whenever possible. Nobody knows or can even speculate with any relevant certainty which site or if all of them will get shut down next.

imo

Taking my money off of lock immediately. Not trusting anything to do with cake even with 1 dollar.

Ok, Ill rephrase. I will not trust anything that at any point in its exsitance ever had anything to do with cake or formerly existed as cake itself.

Better?

OK, let me see if I got it> you trust Lock and have money with them. You do not trust Cake. So, if Lock takes over Cake you will no linger trust Lock. Is that it?
I guess if PokerStars buys Fulltilt you will no longer trust PokerStars either

My speculation is that it will probably drop less than people think but it could get a little tougher because good players on Lock will probably open up accounts on different skins and play on both sites. I think most of the recreational players will probably just play on Lock still.
