Imagine a street protest about a topic that only a small percentage of the population care about. Now the organizers of the protest think that because the issue is really bad for those couple people, they can get a large percentage of said affected people to participate in their protest. Unfortunately, in the end only a small percentage of the small percentage participates.
So instead of creating pressure, the protest creates the exact opposite by showing the powers how little people really care enough about the issue. That's not really a good thing..

It's hard to tell because unless you are really on the inside, you have to rely on information given by third parties. But what I've been told is that Amaya is pretty happy about how far they've already gotten with converting players to lower-skill games and eventually no-skill games. To them it doesn't matter if they get a casual poker player to switch to casino games or to non-skill poker games. Apparently, lots of people inside were sceptical about even getting people from SNGs to Spin-and-Gos and that is considered a big success now. But again, that's only what I've been told by third parties and I certainly wouldn't vouch for that information being true.
