I guess I had that in mind after recently reading a former PStar execs' poker blog and his recounting of his dealings with Amarillo "Tim" and how even before his "legal troubles" late in life he was someone that even his friends said you never wanted to be alone with. Amarillo "Tim" as you know was at one time probably the most famous poker player in the world if judged by appearances on mainstream media like "The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson."
Also, defrauding a little old lady of her life's savings to fund a poker habit seems worse to me than stiffing a guy at the tables for the same or even a greater amount loaned to keep the game going. Context matters.
