MGM properties raised percentage based rake to $5 at all Las Vegas properties yesterday & today with the exception of Luxor, which is closing next month. Las Vegas poker rooms with $5 rake are listed below. It was only a matter of time and with this change all of the premier Las Vegas poker rooms are now taking $5. (X Posted in LVL)

Aria $5
Bally's $5 + $1
Bellagio $5
Excalibur $5 + $1
Flamingo $5 + $1
Mandalay Bay $5 + $2
MGM $5 + $2
Mirage $5 + $2
Planet Hollywood $5 + $1
Venetian $5 + $1
Wynn $5

The +$2 means that there is a $2 promo drop that is ultimately returned to players in the form of bonuses for high hands, aces cracked, BBJ, etc., in addition to the $5 rake that goes to the house. But the bottom line is that yes, a total of $7 max (depending on pot size) can be taken out of play by the house on any one hand.
