Lame duck hearing on an Internet poker ban throughout the US? Lame duck hearing on an Internet poker ban throughout the US?

There was a post about this on RedState, a Tea Party blog.

Basically, the Tea Party guys hate Shelden Adelson.

So they, I guess, will not support anything he supports. So this is now a battle of mainstream, traditionalist, big business crony family values Bill Frist Republicans (McCain, Graham, Hatch, etc)

vs

Tea Party Libertarian States Rights Anti-Federal Government
(Paul, Cruz, Lee)

The leaks in the media saying that Adelson is going to buy Harry Reid are being made by the Tea Party people who hate Adelson. I do not believe that Adelson actually has Reid on board.

Now that both houses are red, the last thing they want is to be cutting deals with Reid/Obama. There will likely be more budget standoffs, potential government shutdowns, etc.
