The only way it would make sense for 2p2 to allow threads like that would be in a dedicated forum, because nobody wants NVG filled with 18,000 "support my charity" or "play in my charity tourny" threads. Even with the prohibition on these types of threads in effect, there are a couple every week that get deleted. If they were allowed, there would be a couple every day.

I didn't know who the mod in question was until I read the examiner article. Funny, I've never thought of PP as nerdy or slimy.

Pretty funny that anyone wouldn't understand this, the reality of this situation. DN has a backwards concept that because 2p2 has become the top dog of poker forums, they should assume a mantle that welcomes all spammers(or should waste their time discriminating between spammers). No, 2p2 has become the top dog because of some of their policies, not in spite of them. Of course sometimes mods here go to far in their control, but this is clearly not such a case.

Greasy slimy nurdy nutcases. Kind of how I pictured the mods. I wandered how you would qualify for that type of job then I realized that it's the same qualities as a lawyer must have...
