Just found Phil Galfond's duplex penthouse slide on craigslist - Page 2 - Poker News

That slide was the epitome of poker boom. So much money floating around that 20-somethings buy slides in their penthouses. Good times. Can we nominate The Slide for Poker Hall of Fame?

I doubt Gandalf has an arch nemesis, but if he has one, he/she should defo buy that and let it rust in a backyard.

I always wondered how can an intelligent person install such an infantile piece of crap in his apartment and actually spend big money for it. That is a decision of a child, not a man. I hope he grew up since.

Not only that, given the number of posthumous inductees there have been for the hall of fame, a slide would be pretty practical as they obviously can't just walk in to the ceremony.

Seems fairly obvious that its someone else in that condo's chain of ownership, assuming the slide was conveyed to new and any subsequent owners, that is doing the selling here.

yawl - is a two-masted sailing craft similar to a sloop or cutter but with an additional mizzenmast (or mizzen mast) located well aft of the main mast, often right on the transom, or aft of the rudder post if the vessel has an inboard hung rudder.

can't believe that in a city like NY this would be possible

Small correction. Long Island City, not Long Island. Long Island City is in Queens. Pretty much right across the east river from the East Village where the condo was. There's a lot of storage places in LIC which are cheaper than a storage place in Manhattan. My guess is after taking it out of the condo it went into storage there.
