so tl;dr: Galfond sold his east village penthouse (incl. slide) more than 4 years ago, buyer said he donates the slide and now someone in long island sells it ... so either the new owner
- didn't donate
- donated, but no 'charity' wanted it, so he had to pay someone to pick it up
- donated, and the 'charity' sold it
can't believe that in a city like NY this would be possible
