I'm rooting for Daniel, but I doubt his game has improved all that much in the past couple of thousand hands, and even if it had, it couldn't be the cause of such a sharp upswing, because it's impossible to beat the game at such a rate in the long term. The fact you can have 2000bb swings either way over a few thousand hands just shows that there is a lot of variance, and also that being up 4-5 buy-ins at some random point in time is no idication of being +EV.
