Re: ***JULY HIGH STAKES THREAD***

What's going on with HSDB- their most recent hand histories show Ziigmund crushing Durrrr in about 10 straight huge pots.

http://www.highstakesdb.com/default.aspx

Did that happen today or are they just rebuilding the hand histories they missed from yesterday? Durrrr finished up several hundred thousand on Ziigmund, correct?

Re: ***JULY HIGH STAKES THREAD***

To answer my own question, HSDB is in fact just reposting the hands from last night. Except they are doing them out of order- placing the big hands that Ziigmund won together on the most recent entries. They are giving the mistaken impression that Ziigmund crushed Durrrr at the end. It's bad enough that they missed an epic heads-up battle- they could at least rebuild the hand histories in the correct order after the fact.

Who cares? The results are right above the hand replayer like in your face with durrrrr winning 780k.

I didn't understand what you were saying at first (and possibly still don't) but why are they stating these sessions happened today (July 1st)

Sure, but sequence matters. The fact is that, in real life, Durrrr got his big hands at the end of the session, and Ziigmund left on tilt. Anyone looking at HSDB would conclude that Durrrr must have been up 1.2 million or so only to have Ziigmund win 10 straight big pots and that Durrrr quit on a big downswing. That just didn't happen. It's no great tragedy, but their purpose is to report hand histories, and sequence matters.

Because they apparently didn't realize the Durrrrr-Ziigmund match was going on at the time and only reported them after the fact on July 1. Except they reported them in the wrong order and with the wrong date.

Re: ***JULY HIGH STAKES THREAD***

25/50 is the new 300/600. Damn recession.

Sick tables atm, with Galfond, Ashby, Cole South, 20 Buck Spin, FinnishNightmare ... and even Mark Vos shortstacking. Won't post hands cause it's too low for NVG standards. Rail if interested :0

Re: ***JULY HIGH STAKES THREAD***

Yeah please post interesting hands. i actually find the lower limits more interesting actually because you can some deeper stacks and 6-max action, as opposed to nosebleeds where it's mostly HU and 50bb/100bb
