Dont the prisoners carry guns, and the guards carry sticks?
Unless he pays off some connected prison mafiosos, he is in deep trouble. Even if he gets killed in thier prison, they will just say it was suicide. Pretty easy to cover up IMO.

vdS extorting money from Holloways clearly demonstrates his utter callousness and absence of remorse. With this POS I don't want it to be an urban legend. I want him given the maximum 35 year sentence. I want him to suffer daily at the hands of the other inmates. Upon serving his sentence I want him to walk out of the prison, finally a free man, only to have someone stick a knife in his ribs.
Prisoners obviously hate child killers. I don't know about grown women murderers. It seems like that happens quite a bit down there by cartels etc. Af far as child killers go, prisoners def. have a code. This is illustrated by Jeffrey Dahmers short life in general pop.

they are not going to put him in general population people... they dont want to look frowned upon to have a high profile figure(vandersloot) to end up gettin killed in their prison... thats just bad media... they will put him in a secure place and he will serve his 9-15 years there

Did anyone care or notice when Dahmer got killed? Noticed, but didn't care. To think a much less organized prison system is going to perfectly segregate this kid for any length of time without someone getting a chance at him is unlikely. You off him and become a Peruvian hero. Add in a connected family, corruption in the guard system, and he's toast.

Add in that this kid is the ultimate wannabe. LOL at those thinking he is smart. Anyone that fell for that faux undercover reporter confessional is borderline retarded. Would you ever discuss the details of one of the most highly publicized deaths in media whore history with anyone that you didn't call dad? You take that to the grave if you have a brain.

This kid thinks he's a charmer because he was a privileged kid who grew up on an island. He's dumb enough to ask out of protective custody and think he'll run con on hardened prisoners once the isolation gets to him.

He's a dead man, either at his own hands(if he's lucky), or others.

Now his mother and the family attorney in the Netherlands are trying to say his confession was coerced. LOL

http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2010/...n6563851.shtml

I could care less if it was. He's just getting a dose of reality, and he is a self admitted liar afterall. Have fun Dutch boy!

they don't have "sectioned" off areas in the prisons there.

This kid will do at least 10-15 years after good behavior. They'll protect him at first while the media is watching, and in a few years feed him to the general population. Never come out alive. I predict suicide within 36 months or a good ole' fashioned prison shanking. This kids days of being a clueless nerd trying to traffic Asian girls and dropping his meager bankroll on Stars are over.
have u been reading this thread? you get 2 days for every day served and are eligible for parole after 1/3 of your time is served. You also get less time for admitting to the crime and also being under the influence of drugs/alcohol

Dahmer was set up by the guards. Hilarious, and no one cared. They put him on a cleaning crew with the craziest sob in the whole place, and they went on a prolonged break. When they came back, Dahmer and the third guy on the crew had been magically beaten to death with a broom stick. No one heard or saw anything. Justice served.

Thanks for that clarification. I thought it was like here in Texas where they count one day served as two in some of the county jails. I heard them speak of a 2 for 1 on the news and misunderstood it to be the same as here.

I enjoyed reading this story about a bolivian jail, where there werent really any guards inside the prison either. Should be similar to the mentioned prison in Peru
Marching Powder...Excellent read.

any of you interested in these South American jail scenario's, just get this book and it will be made plainly clear as to what goes on in one of these 'prisons' that have NO GUARDS inside.

Corruption knows no bounds in South America.

taking into account that it probably was grievous bodily harm resulting in death and that van der sloot also comes from a wealthy family who can afford good lawyers, i highly doubt that he's going to rot in some peruvian ****hole until he's 50.
