In general terms I totally agree with you but given Van Der Sloot's past history, given the confessions, given his actions in Thailand, given the preponderance of evidence pointing towards him being guilty for Peru can you really blame the armchair judges that we are from presuming guilt in this particular case???

No I don't blame people for THINKING he is guilty. Actually, I myself personally think he is guilty. Where did I state otherwise? I do however blame people for CLAIMING they KNOW he did it. This is a huge problem in this world. The black & white thinking. There should always be room for a change of opinion and you should be open for additional facts.

You can't put a "GUILTY, and I am 100% sure" on this unless all the facts are known.

i read it was a 20 hr?? cab ride from he was in peru to chile. if he didnt kill her why would he take a ride that? what was he running from.....even with out this one. he's got it coming to him.
p.s. in my opinion prisons arent about just removing bad guys from society. they should be about punishment as well as a deterent.
