Might be better served for the MP gurus but i'm curious as what Ivey could charge if he was selling action.

Just looking at his SS he's showing 170 tourneys, avg buyin of 13k and 220% ROI. No idea what live events that includes/doesn't include.

Could he easily pull 2.5-1? 3-1?

I think its a good question actually, i could see him charging like 200% mu and thats probly about fair tbh

Galen Hall charges like 2 to 1 on mark up. Justin Bonomo charges 8% on the one drop tournament. So I think Ivey could charge 3 to 1 or 4 to 1.

It would have to be in a public auction setting to get full value, and i imagine 10% would go for $5k or more.

didnt TJ Cloutier sell 300% of himself at 3.5-1 MU?

it was a rumor i heard at the table while playing a 2500 plo he was playing in as well. 2 tables behind me in 2010 iirc. he kept getting it in really bad and winning, rail chatter etc. definitely speculated he was trying to bust everything as fast as possible. dont know how he couldve paid anyone out..

if TJ really got 3.5, then the skys the limit for Ivey imo

Would pay between 3:1 and 4:1. I know a lot of people who sell at 2:1 and it gets scooped up quick.
