When I met her this was assumed. We were introduced in an almost secretive way. She felt keeping her identity private was the best idea and I think we should all respect that.

She was a major asset to the community and will be missed. She helped me in several situations and she expected absolutely nothing in return for it. In fact, she refused when I offered. That is the kind of person she was. All she wanted was what was right.

Not many people live their life with integrity that attracts the respect of people around the world. My hope is that her friends and family will focus on the good that came from her life and that it will be a comfort to them.

I met Diamond at iGNA a couple of years ago and saw her at other conferences over time. She was always super friendly to me and hearing her opinion on iGaming topics was very interesting. She was never one to back down and I remember once when she got into a heated debate during a panel discussion at GiGse. She was always asking the difficult questions. I think she knew more than many in the industry.

What many may not know is that she paid her own way to most of these events in order to maintain her independence. The past year she was working on starting an iGaming specific conference in NJ (her home state) and I am sure it was going to be successful.

She and her work will be missed.

I will miss you Diamond, you will not be forgotten. You were truely the tireless hero of the online poker community, your acheivements and investigative work behind the scenes of the industry will go down in history. Someday I hope there will be an online poker hall of fame to acknowledge those who contributed to the growth of the game and the success of the industry, you would receive my nomination. I was honored to be able to call you a friend, I will never forget our last dinner together - that will remain a very fond memory.

Do any who knew her know if she cared to be anonymous after death or whether the point of the anonymity was for the things she did while alive?
