Sounds like there is more to the story ... ?

I really like JRB. I don't know why he keeps trying to be a big baller. Someone gives him 100K, he should be grinding 20/40 or something, and taking it very seriously.

You match their result in the game. If they win 10k, you owe them 10k more. If they lose 10k playing, they owe you 10k on top.

I read this Cyril guy hit the pros hard at Bobby's Room during the WSOP, and now he's doing it again? He apparently has some serious game.

Part of the staking arrangement was to play the 2/400 mix game. Why get a 100K stake to play 20/40?

Don't know about this. JRB just said that Cyril was winning that night which means little to none. Besides, there's a chat conversation between Ivey and durrrr trying to start a game with Cyril so apparently he is a huge fish.

Re: Jean Robert Bellande - BUilding His Bankroll, Sick Action in Bobby's Room
Got a call recently from an old pool buddy, Jay. He says "they're talking **** about you on two plus two" Jay chimed in some cool words about me here but failed to mention that he owned me on the pool table.
To my surprise, seems to be just as much love as hate in this thread. I actually find some of the supposed "hate" comments as very insightful and constructive.
And those of you who think I suck at poker are indeed correct. However, my massive ego makes it difficult for me to turn down any challenges so please don't hesitate to come play with me.
When I shot this Video, I honestly thought I was quite boring. Many of you recognize that I am just trying to keep it real. And in my case Real somehow entertains (hate me or love me).
Give me my own show CBS!

In after JRB.
Met JRB, Nice guy, keeping it real for sure, honest about things, awesome in Survivor.
Everybody think every other poker player is overrated anyway.
I think this guy sells me poker like it is, not like DN, luckboxing his way in tourbnaments, and then giving level 0 advice about Poker.

Re: Jean Robert Bellande - BUilding His Bankroll, Sick Action in Bobby's Room
i played with him a few years back at foxwoods (before survivor), he seemed like a nice guy, he is more cocky/arrogant on tv when i saw him, but i think that he is trying to put players on tilt. He handled himself really well at the table when we were playing.
me , mike demichelle and him were playing HOE and i thought his E needed some work tho

Now that you're here, let me ask a serious question:
What is this need to play so big? I'm sure the standard response is "har har I am a degen" or whatever (by the way, guys, there's nothing cool or funny about being a degenerate of any sort), but could we maybe get a somewhat more interesting reply?
In my experience, guys who play way over their heads are doing so because they aspire to be more than they are. I mean, no offense, but you must know your expectation in the games you're playing is, well, you know.
So why be the guy always taking a shot? Why not be the guy who ran $100K into $1M and then went and lived an excellent life?
As I said earlier in the thread, you seem like an OK sort.
Is it simple degeneracy, or is it some master media manipulation plan?
Because I seriously doubt either one of these lines ends with you holding any chips.
Best of luck, seriously. I guess you get points for, uh...something.

Re: Jean Robert Bellande - BUilding His Bankroll, Sick Action in Bobby's Room
I really respect him for his honesty in that video. So much ego in the game today and the fact he can come out and openly admit he is being staked really shows character imo.
Oh yeah, and GOOOOOO CYRIL!

You seem like a pretty solid, authentic dude. I actually don't get the hate, except from the randoms who played with you and say you were super arrogant or whatever. You just got off on the wrong foot by coming in to stick up for d-dub.
Keep the Raw Vegas vids coming.

People don't hate you Bobbby. What have you ever done to make the casual poker fan hate you here at 2+2? Be yourself on camera? Youre OK. I'm OK. Everyone is OK. Haters hate. It's what they do. OK?

Dumb. Very dumb. You are not SO special. Get the Grind on the Mind and play the game as it should be played. It is a marathon JRB, not a sprint.
It is survival...and you are known to be a Survivor.
SIDENOTE: I did enjoy the banter as I railed a WSOP event with yourself, Mike Matusow, Brent Richey and Sam Grizzle talking ****.
Four funny mother****ers.
JRB is a joker that enjoys being a joker. It is only fitting that he took one of the worst televised beats in the history of WSOP coverage (lmao). When JRB takes a verbal shot at you, it is above the belt. When you take a shot at him above the belt, JRB will laugh as loud as anyone.
Dude is aight. Im jus sayin...
