How they choose to spend THEIR COMBINED money is up to them. If one of them is slow paying certain debts then it is fair for people to question their extravagant lifestyle choices.

Fernando and Jaclynn should take these words and be done with it, everyone can form their own opinion about the matter by now. There's no way to prove actual innocence, so they very likely won't be getting much more out of this thread. Doubts and suspicions among some people won't fully disappear anyways. I can just picture the Mercier's snuggled on the couch, five days after the gender reveal night festivities, still basking in the afterglow of the big reveal. Their guests are still in awe. "Can you believe the cake is blue? What were the chances? Oh yeah, 50/50..." Then, they get this text about OFC, ruining gender reveal week. It also put a damper on their plans for an ultrasound luau which is just in a couple of weeks, as well as the big press conference for unveiling the baby's name.

I still remember the big gender reveal for my kids. People would ask me "Do you know if it's a boy or a girl?" I'd say "Boy." They'd say "Oh, cool. Congratulations." I don't think I could deal with texts at such an eventful time.

I think it's important to note the sequence of events between Fernando/Natasha:

- There was an original agreement to settle after 6k.
- Debt reaches 6k.
- Natasha doesn't settle, decides to keep playing. Fernando says ok.
- Debt goes over 10k.
- Natasha doesn't settle, decides to keep playing. Fernando says ok.
- Debt goes to 22k.
- Natasha decides not to settle until playing live.

Natasha continuing to play, and Fernando continuing to agree, shows mistakes on both sides - sounds like alarm bells should have gone off for both of them earlier - Natasha suspecting cheating, Fernando suspected welshing.

Fernando, you can't stop Natasha from feeling that she got gamed in the app, but you can offer to play her live the next time it's convenient for both of you. Even if it's not a hu4rollz 3-day deathmatch.

Seems like both of you think you have an edge on each other, why not just figure out the next time you can play and get to it. Oh... and be sure to report session results back in the thread... inquiring minds wanna know!!

Actually, it's sexist for you to call it sexist, since you're assuming it had anything to do with her being female. My post could easily have been made to any seasoned mooch/angle shooter/scammer of any gender.

im pretty amazed at how somebody could write all that and actually think that it makes them look better in any possible way

this is why i never lend or borrow money or get involved in any kind of staking, games on credit etc. i also almost never hang out with people from poker. there's just so much scum walking around poker rooms, often times posing as someone with a lot of money when broke and in debt it's not worth it.
