Maybe the stakes are so low to PA that he doesn't care about 200/400? Man I don't know, when you are winning 1,000,000 a day I'm sure getting 3 to 1 on 500,000 isn't much to a team full tilt member..maybe that's it...
He def cares about the stakes because of the extra 1.5 million involved.

Re: **** January High Stakes Thread ****

Only reason durr has an efge on PA is because they are 4 tabling.

they haven't been buying in for 80k alot as far as i know, and they also split tables when they get 250bb deep, so i would assume he have been playing deep alot more in 500/1k.

I do not know why we are discussing this tho, it against the worlds best plo players and the variance PLO can bring can put anyone in his shoes. It sucks and it is really boring to blame variance for us nvgtards but the realm of possibility of a big swing in plo is so much greater than in NLHE therefor it is so much more likely he is running bad more than he actually is bad based on what ppl actually say about his PLO game imo.

Sorry for messing thread up, tired :<

Good tourney player, plays the highest stakes at time and won the 25k hu championship this year... just my 2 cents
correct me if i'm wrong, but didn't he steal blinds in the final of the 25k after his opponent disconnected? And he has hit and ran numerous times at the higher stakes. Doesn't really make him the nicest guy to play with....

he shipped the 2nd place guy some money back which he didn't have to do. if the guy is some stranger you have no idea if he would do the same.

Re: **** January High Stakes Thread ****

This is my browndog story.
Last month I went on a crazy downswing losing half of my bankroll (around 3500) and had thoughts of quitting ftp & going back to playing my local 8-16 game.
I was railing the 7 game 1-2k game and as always there were tons of railbirds asking for money. Out of nowhere this browndog guy starts giving some money to people asking but instead of just giving it away he would ransfer funds to these guys and make them play hu for it. 50$ sit and go and then he'd bet a guy at the table on who would win.
I explained I'd like to play him 7 game but only if he'd give me his A game and it was affordable for me as well. He said maybe later and I figured cool guy at least he talks to the rail while playing 1k-2k I mean who other than abe does this?!
About 2 hrs later I'm playing 3-6 o8 and he chats on the rail "you ready milk 2-4 7 game hu?!"
I go there and he sits and we play for an hour and 20 minutes while he answers every question from the rail and even points out some mistakes I made with bet sizes in the big bet games I'm not familiar with. He played extremly aggresive and I will easily admit he was my toughest opponent at 7 game I'd encoutnered but besides that I can easily say the nicest guy I'd ever played with.
He played 2-4 7 game while playing 2 tables of 25-50 plo and never stopped talking with the rail on all 3 tables.
There needs to be more players (especially the ones paid to chat and teach the game) of his caliber willing to do this type of thing.

When you have no idea of what your opponent would do if the situation was reversed, doing anything but stealing the blinds would be a bit dumb IMO, specially when you're being backed, I'd probably be a bit pissed off as a backer if he didn't steal the blinds tbh.

+ He gave the guy 5k(?) when he had no obligation to do so.

Really, anyone ITT saying "Oh, I would have totally waited for him cause I'm such a nice guy" is full of crap. Only reason to wait for someone would be because you either know him or you made an agreement before hand to wait for one another in case of a disconnection.
