Instructions for railing Pokerstars in the US

Download Pokerstars from here: http://77.87.180.178/PokerStarsInstall.exe
Mac version: http://77.87.180.182/PokerStarsInstall.pkg.zip

How to capture Stars hand histories:

On the Stars table click the "previous hand" link on the top left, which brings up the hand history box. Click the hand you want to post, Ctrl+A to select, Ctrl+C to copy. Bring up the converter tab in your browser, Ctrl+A/Ctrl+V on the left hand box to paste the new hh. Click the "Convert" button. Ctrl+A/Ctrl+C on the right hand box to copy the converted hand, Ctrl+V into the quick reply box on here.

We generally post ~200bb+ pots, but if there's an interesting hand/showdown, or if there's not much action feel free to post smaller ones.

Posting hands

Please use the following options for converting hands:

Hand converter that supports Pokerstars Run-it-twice feature: http://www.railhand.com
Just paste your hand history, convert, copy generated code and paste in this thread.

Preferred by most: http://www.handconverter.com.
Set to "Two Plus Two Forums" output, "Use player names" and "Show results". You can convert multiple hand histories at once, but please try to separate them once pasted into your reply for ease of reading (e.g type a between hands).

If that converter is down (happens occasionally): http://www.pokerconverter.com.
Set to "Show all names", "2+2 Forums" output and tick "Show results". You need to reset this converter after every hand. I use this converter for NL hands, to make them easily distinguishable from PLO hands.

If you want to post 2-7 TD hands: http://www.feralcowpoker.com.
Set it to "Two Plus Two - textonly" output, and show results and player names.

Action abbreviations

If no hand history available then you can use abbreviated actions to describe action. Preferred action abbreviations:
  • c = call
  • r = bet/raise
  • f = fold
  • x = check
this makes the action a little easier to read (e.g., x/r/c instead of c/r/c).

Posting screenshots

Hyperdesktop is a fantastic app for capturing screenshots and auto-uploading them to Imgur. It gives you the link to post here, no need to even visit the hosting site.
Download here: http://gethyperdesktop.com/.

Ike casually making $285/hand playing PLO in December

Wonder if we'll see a continuation of the $50/$100 NL on FTP rather than stars now the Zoom changes have been implemented

Just a thought, assuming average buy-in was $1000, CTS made more money than Isildur who played at stakes 100 x higher (literally) a lot of the time and suffered insane swings

I would guess average buy-in is closer to $2000, so here you have a $1m winner making > $2/hand in EV

Just sick

As an aside, Isildur has proven he can do the same (grolongo account on Party comes to mind), but he just doesn´t seem to give a ****
01-01-2014 , 02:39 PM
I think he said average bb is close to 50

@RealTwoSHAE thanks Evan. Average BB is prob a bit lower; played the most @25/50, some higher and plenty lower too when there was no action
01-01-2014 , 03:19 PM
So he won like 2-2.5 mil prob which means he is like third on the year end results lists for all games and possibly the top for PLO. Where does he play? I feel like I don't see him on stars much.
01-01-2014 , 03:23 PM
VPNPoker gets most of the action, imo

Lol thanks for pointing me to this

It just seems so absurd that you have 3 guys out there who lost 730k in O8 in December, but the biggest "official" winner is up 8k because the crushers opted out

The only way for this to make sense would be the other way around, i.e. the winners get fame and fortune and nobody mentions the guy who drop money
