What? You have to give your SSN to make a WSOP account. It actually should have more integrity than an online tournament because if you go ZeeJustin and make the final table twice you can't play twice live.

Thats actually an awesome idea; and make it a bracelet event imo. 2-3 player teams, either players play individually until level x then stack merge and players alternate sharing a stack or alternate from the start. They had a non bracelet teams event a few years ago and it was heaps of fun.

A non bracelet event similar to the Australian poker State of Origin event would be fun too with teams representing countries/american states

I'd love to see a proper world cup of poker with the biggest crushers actually representing their country rather than a bunch of online qualiflier donks like they had in the past.

Yeah, actual selection criteria (based on combo of GPI + P5s rankings or whatever suitable criteria can be devised) would be cool. Very marketable to televise as well.

You could also do a state of origin event for U.S players where each state picks its best team etc.

I've always thought there should be a shot clock in poker (20 secs imo rather than 30), but everyone should have three 1 minute extension buttons they can throw to dealer to buy a minute which are replenished over time

What? Why? This is a terrible idea, would cut down on number of people who don't live in Vegas coming for full wsop as many would just pick one or the other and end up playing half as many events

If you need a WSOP fix outside of the main series go to WSOPE or WSOP APAC

They should really add more LO8 events before they start adding more PLO8 or NLO8. LO8 is still a bigger draw than PL by the attendance numbers every year (although perhaps not among hardcore 2+2ers). And I don't think I've ever seen NLO8 spread in a casino.

In 1979 Doyle won his 6th wsop bracelet in the $600 mixed doubles event taking home a prize of $4500.

$1500 AmayaMaker --- After a few levels you kick out players from an arbitrary list of countries. A few levels later you announce that the rake is being raised (thus reducing the prizepool). Also, if you make the money, there is a charge at the cage to get your cash.

Shot clock tournament with 30 second timers and one 2 minute extension given to every player at the start of every level to be used any time throughout the tournament.
