Now that the gbt deal fell through, doesnt that mean it was actually smart of pros in debt to ftp like ivey or greensten to not pay tapie the money? Why would they give him money hes not entitled to until the deal is complete?

as far as i understand it they haven't been ask to hand over the money by GBT but only to sign agreements to pay up their debts if the deal is complete!

they refused to do so which might have been one of the deal breakers and one more reason for GBT disability to repay players in a timely manner!

Let the man play.

He has an expensive ex-wife who needs a new handbag, he was not the reason you lost your money.

Re: Is Ivey really going to honor his word?

Ivey was far from the problems @ FTP..yes he was greedy (which poker player isn't) but I do believe he new nothing about the pyramid scheme by which he was paid. His sitting out last year was a good symbolic jesture...but lets face it it had more to do with having to face all the press and players driving him mad with question after question that I do believe he didn't (at the time) have answers for. And lets not forget he has lost $10"s of millions in this. Go Ivey IMO guy deserves to compete and win!

which source do you get this trash from?

my sources say ivey received a 1 million$ paycheck every month straight out stolen from players bankrolls! Ivey never deposited but played with phantommoney and ripped-off players on a daily basis!

Who are your sources exactly? Tapie's not exactly the kind of guy who'd be ideal for a poker site, a match fixer with a bit of financial crime to go with it.
