I dont get at all why Ivey rejected being at the feature table today..it will be really interesting to see how his tablemates respond to being ****ed out of 10K..I figured Ivey would like this..people gettin paid 10k would be freerolling and more likely to donate ivey their chips

Phil Ivey is the anti Phil Hellmuth. I don't think he's comfortable with the spotlight.

I dont think anyone will just donate 10k to see him do well. And its not like he needs it. I think it could be a good run this year in the ME for Ivey, as long as Moneymaker doesnt mess it up for everyone.

m8 of mine is at the table wit ivey and he says he will give them 5k each and if he wins the ME he will ship each of them 50k each

i didnt mean they will donate him chips to do well..i mean that they wont be playing scared because they will have won the 10k back already from sponserships and maybe even trying to make big moves on him

maybe he doesnt want his holecards shown when playing 300 blind deep tournament poker?do they even have holecard cams at those feature tables?

he just wanted to eat his potato salad without being on tv. it just so happened that it cost him $40k to do so

and what the hell, $10k for being a no-name donk on one day of featured table? that's way more than i ever would've expected. i wasn't even sure if they'd get sponsorship money at all, and if they did, i'd think like maybe $1500 max.

I actually don´t think Ivey owes them anything when he´s the reason for the 10k in first place.

Ivey and pros like him making their bones mainly from cash games dont give two ****s about helping the sport. They will and have crushed cash games before the boom, during the boom and will do so after the boom when every tom dick and jane get their poker fix, made fashionable by moneymaker, and go back to their 9-5.

Ivey never needed all of this to be what he is. he wouldn't lose an ounce of sleep if the WSOP next year resembled circa 1998.

doesn't matter.. if one person has the right to say he doesn't wanna play there so do all of them

if one person makes a penalty, everyone that does the same thing should be given the penalty (hence phil hellmuth exception)

someone fill me in the exact specifications how this 10k comes about....does pokerstars or full tilt pay you 10k to wear their gear at a feature table...is this set in stone for every feature table throughout the ME?
