i think that it would be pretty cool to do this and thats the only way i can see them maybe getting any decent amount of people there because lets face it, there is no chance in hell that many ppl would come to watch poker lol.

They're not going to install thousands of poker tablets in the seats in like eight months.
BUT the rest is doable if the organizers are crazy enough. WSOP Main Event prize pool was $64mil this year, so it's not like $30m is unheard of. And this tournament would basically just be one giant advertisement for Full Tilt so they'd probably be prepared to pay some overlay. Or hopefully succeed in getting REAL sponsors interested in poker finally, who'd pay a lot of the bill.
And the whole tourney wouldn't need to play in three days from scratch, it could start online and move to the stadium when the money bubble bursts. That way they'd get even more people returning to FT than they would just by running the online satellites to this thing (which would also create a lot of interest).
There's plenty of things that would stop this from happening, of course. But some people dream big and can make crazy ideas work.
