He has def been banned at Stars and Betfair (his sponsor) is listening to what is being said on the forums and look for them to make an announcement soon.

I'm almost certain Sorel got his endorsement after the Chris Vaughan thing, so it wouldn't look like Betfair care that much.

That is true but now he is banned at the 2 of 3 major sites I don't think UB would even touch him now..lol. He will be out of Betfair otherwise the site is in major trouble with players because why play when a known cheat is a pro there?

looks like a grand opportunity for UB to me..lol. jokes aside, its obvious Sorel and Josh are going to be playing at these sites for a long time, a big name is a big name, regardless if its infamous or not.

But if you don't know he cheated you likely don't know who he is, therefore what good is he as a representative of your company?

How many people know that Doyle Brunson used to cheat? I'm pretty sure Doyle has a lot of fans. The thing is, new players will see his name in the top ranks, and begin to idolize him. Ill admit, i was naive, and did not shrug when he got busted on ftp. He was who i watched when i was learning to play tournament poker, so i didn't care none the less. Its obvious NOW that he is scum but how many people will realize this?? hopefully enough, but unlikely

The past incident was, he bought bluffmagcv's account, deep in an ftp million, and ended up winning it...a week after CV won the stars mill

Jeez, what an idiot, you'd think getting banned by FT would've taught him a lesson, but clearly not.
I guess greed is a helluva drug.

Re: Imper1um aka zangbezan24 cheat again?
LOL , and this is why I don't read the forums, nothing but drama and people spreading false rumors.... Initially I wasn't going to respond to this but it seems like it's getting a little bit out of hand.
Sorry to disappoint everyone, but I only got suspended on Pokerstars and it was for a minor infraction which I don't think I should have been suspended for in the first place.
Basically what happened was I was at the airport in Barcelona , ready to fly to London, when I realized that I had already preregistered for one of the WCOOP events ($300R PLO). Since the flight from Barcelona to London is only an hour, I called my friend (who will remain nameless) from the airpot and asked him to login and play until I arrived at my hotel and set up the internet. I ended up getting to my hotel about 1hr and a half into the tournament. I told him to log off, he did, and I continued playing the rest of the tournament.
This is the only time I've let anyone login to my account since the incident on FTP.... I had no malicious intent and my actions were 100% reasonable and innocent.
I knew I should have been smarter and just blinded out accepting the $300 loss. It's evident that Pokerstars has me red flagged because they think I'm associated with JJ in more ways than I am and because of the FTP incident.... I feel like they were just waiting for me to slip up and I guess this was enough for them.
Pokerstars wanted to suspend me for 6 months but after continuous back and forth e-mails they reduced the suspension to 3 months.
Although I don't agree with the suspension and think it's extremely harsh given the circumstances, I can appreciate the fact that Pokerstars is enforcing their rules and doing their part in protecting the integrity of online poker.

Re: Imper1um aka zangbezan24 cheat again?
Regarding the sunday warmup on 9/28.......
Hello,
PokerStars has become aware of an instance in a tournament in whicha player "handed off" his seat to a different player, deep in theevent. This is in violation of our tournament rules, and thatplayer has been disqualified. All players who were eliminatedprior to the disqualified player have been bumped up in standing, which results in some players being due a larger tournament award.....
.... After careful review we have permanently closedthe offending players' account and have implemented measures toprevent the players from playing on the site using any other account. The integrity of the games at PokerStars is of paramount importance tous and we will not abide unfair play in our games. We work hard topolice our games to assure our players of a fair, secure place toplay. In the rare cases where collusion has actually occurred, wemake sure that any players affected are compensated appropriately.Thank you for your continued play here on PokerStars. Please do nothesitate to let us know any time we can be of help.
Best Regards,
JeffPokerStars Game Security
