oh hell no! his posture makes him look tired/uncomfortable, his face (turned to his right, away from the camera) makes it look like he doesnt want to be photographed, his left hand is in a fist which speaks of tension... i could go on forever.

robs pictures are way better but theyre still a bit corny. these guys are professional poker players who play on the internet, so why the **** are they trying to look like tough business men? try to bring out your own persona if you want to make promotional pictures. dont wear a suit unless it really is your style. the same goes for that oh-so serious look on your face. otherwise youll end up looking fake like a cheap stockphoto.

just because you have hired a professional photographer doesnt mean you cant smile or dress casually at the photoshoot.

It would be embarrassing to even talk about brian's pics on the same post. So I wont.

Townsend's story is pretty unique in poker in that he simply refuses to play his best game- NLHE. This story about the NLHE games having dried up is untrue- yes, there aren't as many of them, but there are still enough degens out there who will play anyone and there has been good 500/1000 action lately.

This PLO crusade of Townsend's seems to be a very large psychological leak. Personally, I'd be content to know that I was one of the best NLHE players in the world. Then again, maybe Townsend really has been secretly playing NLHE on a secret account and his confidence has been shot. That would make sense at least- to just stop playing NLHE in favor of a losing game for you doesn't make sense.

Good2cu seems to have a similar leak- he has an impressive consistency at the 25/50 level, but he always seems to blow it when he moves up in stakes. Good2cu does seem to run fairly bad at the higher levels, though- I've seen him lose some big online pots where he got his money in good. So maybe he can turn it around.

the problem with these pictures is that we know that they are just internet poker nerds and are totally faking it. they might fool some non 2+2ers
