In his defense, have you ever tried to crop a jewfro that gangly and massive? Not everyone has an entire weekend to kill.

Photoshop (get an old copy from someone, everyone has one). Lasso-select tool. Blow up image, walk around desired area, copy paste into a new image, shrink/blowup to size, paste over existing image. I think in your case you could add some fill light/increase the brightness on the Jacob-head, to match the surroundings.
