Is it not possible to fast forward this? Man these really suck if so.

HL said that if the Operating Agreement had been amended (or rewritten) to reflect the amount of business they were doing in '05-'06 that it could have prevented all of this, but that the board did not have the power to change teh Operating Agreement. He also said that any amendment or new Operating Agreement would have to have been approved by the membership.

While all of this is true, any owner (even one on the BOD) could have drafted an amendment or rewritten the Operating Agreement. To essentially say that he didn't have the power and that it would required member approval seems like quite a cop out.

It is a lot of work to download the podcast on iTunes and scrub, so your harsh reaction to these guys producing a full broadcast seems pretty reasonable.

I don't really understand how there was NOONE who would be willing to be paid more than $200k per month to take over as CEO of FTP.

My reaction was before learning you could download it to itunes obv hence the edit. You have to admit, if you couldn't fast forward it, it would definitely suck right?

Lol, I think you can file this under "pick your battles" either way. The guys do a great show, you could support it by at least not stating that having to listen to their intro "sucks."

And most podcasts are available in iTunes you n00b!

Awesome Shane. Reminds me of that Louis CK bit "everything's cool and nobody cares".

"Every single decision that I made was to try to [get players repaid]."

Like when you refused to make any effort to return the tens of millions of dollars of players' money that you personally received? Thanks for doing that for us, Howard. That was really nice.

Next time somebody steals my money and then systematically lies to me about what happened while they gamble on some remote hope that they'll somehow figure out a way to pay it back, I really really hope it's you again!

I'm a bit disappointed in the interview that you didn't just talk about the people that he was hurting more. When you talk about not returning the distributions, you shouldn't just ask him if he felt he deserved that money.... Ask if he felt he deserved it more than the people who entrusted him and his buddies to hold their rent money and now can't pay rent because he bought 7 houses with their money. When you talk about him lying to players after BF and telling them their money was safe, ask him if he thinks that's fair to someone who has to make important financial decisions based on those lies.
