Some of the older big name NLHE MTT top players have kept pace with all of the new GTO poker theory, such as Erik Seidel, and possibly Daniel Negreanu (maybe partly has and is trying to), but most of the other older big name high stakes NLHE MTT players appear to have fallen quite a way behind the new/newer wave of GTO players.

So how long can a dinosaur survive on instinct alone, looking for that one big punch? (i.e. some run good, along with very good pre 2008 poker skills combined with experience and a very good mental game)

Will the dinosaurs be extinct very soon or can they one day rule the earth again?
