In all seriousness I don't think Daniel is gay. I'm guessing he may not have had a positive male role model to follow and that may have led to him being slightly confused as to his identity. All the gay joking around he does is to try to prove to others he isn't gay. Some people act really masculine to prove they are straight others sometimes act really feminine to try and prove they aren't gay. It's all insecurity. Plus it seems Daniel is very immature when it comes to his sexuality. I believe he will figure out he doesn't have to prove himself to anyone and once he does that he will stop the gay joking around.
