Seems logical to have 99% of your net worth invested in an online gambling site...nothing bad could ever come of that.

Or perhaps LG should worry more about the 3.5m he's stuck with the new FTP,
instead of making stupid tweets. Reminds me of the old saying, "keep your
mouth shut and let people think your stupid, instead of opening it and proving
them right"

Maybe Howard called in a debt in order for LG to commit such a blunder. I thought one of the reasons FTP took on LG was because he kept his mouth shut.
Very funny.
that really isn't a diss to him...because he has the money. It seems more like a envious comment.

Although I don't agree with Gus, I understand why people hate on Howard, but, just don't think theres much more to it at this point. Howard did what he did, it can't be taken back and he no longer is in the position to do anything to make it better. It's up to PStars/DOJ to get this sorted out now.

This is so misinformed, Gus was the one actually standing up for the players
Gus has been giving action to some of the sickest bumhunter nit game specialists where he is clearly -EV, for the sake of giving action and creating good games. He's not even that -EV, when he was down a lot, he had a huge comeback to be only down like a mill

This is the actual key. People hated Folderer before Black Friday, they just needed an excuse to release their vitriol.

Same reason annoying American hair guy gets so much hate for when he multi-accounted- people think he's an annoying **** and use the multi-accounting as an excuse, so they don't seem petty.

Edit- remembered his name!

I have a idea that will help out all parties. Have a exhibition boxing match to promote federal legislation. A match between negranue and lederer . Us 2 plus 2ers will be happy because it will be entertainment and will help our cause to get poker federally regulated. And it will clear up negranue's name for being on millionaire matchmaker( negranu you will get better poon besides vegas golddiggers if you do this) Your man points will go up+++ dont think that women dont keep track of this stuff .... And to be epic Have Lederer intro's song be Nickelback "this is how you remind me"

Got the idea from hansen vs thor boxing match

I agree. Most likely explanation for this tweet is Hanson's friendship and business relationship with Howard. I am also ignite because what happened there isn't right, it's not a question of perception. That website was a license to print money with the rake, but that apparently wasn't enough for these guys and they had to put their hand in the cookie jar with bs loans and various shennanigns so that the money wasn't there when the completely 4seeable event of the DOJ going after the banks occurred. I like Gus, he's an interesting guy, but he's not right here and it's not a particularly bright thing to say to people who are out money.

3 .Strip clubs do the same thing is the consumer committing a crime in this instance also?

I look forward to learning something today in NVG
  1. In 2006, the U.S. Congress passed the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act (UIGEA) that banned the use of credit cards and other financial instruments for the purpose of illegal Internet gambling.
  2. Most US Customers of online poker sites violated the law mentioned above by using their credit card or bank account for illegal Internet gambling. Merely disguising a credit card charge is not illegal, but disguising the use of a credit card for illegal internet gambling is illegal (over and above the illegal gambling).
  3. There is no federal law against using a credit card or bank account transfer at a strip club, so it is not illegal to disguise such transactions. If such transactions occurred in states or localities where strip clubs were illegal, that "may be" a violation of state or local laws, but there is no federal law involved.

Nice to see someone's thinking outside the box..
I wouldn't try it with anything involving violence... like a fight.. but there are plenty of options. And I wouldn't use pro poker players since they are relative unknowns in the real world.
But, poker has many Hollywood celebrities under it's wing who carry huge media drawing potential.. From Kaplan to Pollak to Ray Romano (wonder why so many comedians) to... i dunno.. Tobey Maguire is a big cash player, plus the big stars he plays with... Matt Damon? Affleck? Plus the sports guys and the ladies.. The press would eat it up. And if done right, it might spread the message in a hurry.

The game needs a promoter.. a marketing expert.

good lord.. i almost forgot Pamela Anderson.. sorry babe..

For someone who demands evidence, I don't see much evidence coming from any of your posts.

If you think that Lederer has violated any laws or committed fraud (presumably you agree that fraud be a crime), maybe can you tell us why it is the case that he has not been indicted by the US Federal government on criminal charges. Personally, I don't know exactly what happened, and it may be that criminal charges are forthcoming, but so far all I know is that Lederer has settled a civil claim with the US government, no criminal charges have been filled against him, and all account holders from FTP will be paid if full in the near future. So while Lederer and others at FTP probably acted inappropriately and displayed gross incompetence, claims of fraud have yet to be proven.
