think of how meaningless the $20k is to gus in the 1st place....... hell he probably made the bet with 50 players left.... for ivey to come this far...... no way gus would ever accept a buyout offer now.

maybe he would accept a 25-1 buyout offer (500k) at this point..... but the other guy would never offer that to gus unless he was retarded.

yeah, imo Ivey only has a 10% advantage on the field so it's a good line to set at that point (assuming equalish stacks).

That usually means he gets $20k if the bet comes in.

So he has $400 on the outcome.

Even Gus wouldn't put $20k on Ivey in a field of 6,000 players.
