Yeah I used to live in the area and the takeout window around the side was a beacon of deliciousness as I stumbled my way home from Granville. But yeah, never even thought about going there outside of the early morning hours while intoxicated. It looked disgusting.

Re: Grinders moving to Vancouver

Just moved to the vancouver area a few weeks ago, foods great but I'm always looking for more places that I can walk too.

Anyone got a any good restaurant tips for around the Commercial/broadway area?

Having a nice beer on tap is a plus, and yes I know of St.Augustine'es

thanks!

Sweet thank you

Kishimoto is our go to sushi place but I'll def be trying continental coffee soon.

Also another side question, anyone got tips on where to find cigars in the area?

Thanks again

There's a few shops including one in yale town and one in gas town. Keep in mind though you're paying probably 20-40% more per cigar than you're used too.

Re: Grinders moving to Vancouver

Anyone who has been happily surprised by the weather, well, it is about to change. Roughly from mid October to mid April, the weather will be considerably wet. Like, for days on end. Just when you are ready to pack up an move to Costa Rica, there will be a day that is crisp, clear, dry, and gorgeous. You will forget about Costa Rica until about 20 or 25 days later... repeat.

local-right on kits beach. great cesars (americans might not know what this is but you will learn to love it) served in a boot with beef jerky garnish.
eatery- on 4th. tons of cool special sushi rolls.
Alibi Room has a way better beer selection than Biercraft, miles better if you're only counting taps. That being said, I still like Biercraft and their brunch/lunch food is pretty great, like you said (not a fan of their dinner menu unless it's changed recently). They also have at least one bartender who is super cool/hot.

Also the Eatery is terrible.
