Re: Great Tony Cousineau story on ESPN.com

the problem with poker tournaments is you got guys who think theyre good and will get their big break, but in reality theyre not that good, prob barely beat the game, and will waste a big portion of their life never getting anywhere. Its sad frankly.

"If I could trade all my cashes to be the one lucky kid who won an event on his first try, I would," Cousineau says.

Ummmm, no ****, you'd have a lot more money for a lot less effort. Duhhhhhhhhhh.

Cliffs:
- 1.5 years ago, a thread is created about a live tournament nit who travels the circuit racking up min-cashes.
- "If I could trade all my cashes to be the one lucky kid who won an event on his first try, I would," says the nit.
- random bump

You'd think there's no way he could keep going without any big scores, but I'm sure he's an amazing satellite player.

I consistently win a few tournies every year. If I am close to the money though, I go for the cash first, then try to move up the ladder. (gus hansen ladder principle).

I'd say my record compares favorably to tonys.
