Re: Gossip (hopefully): Eskimo Clark maybe murdered in LA, rumor going around the wyn

I dealt a $1060 sitngo satellite into the main event at the WSOP last year, that Eskimo won. He flipped out at me several times during the match, doing stuff like slamming his fists on the table and flinging his cards at me.

Then he ends up making this crazy deal when they're heads up where the other guy gets 10% of Eskimo's action for the main event, and Eskimo's backer writes up a contract that they all sign. Completely unprecedented obviously.

Finally, as he's getting paid out, a floorperson whispers to me that Eskimo is known for not tipping and I shouldn't expect anything (average tip for this type of satellite is $100-150). Eskimo gets the 10000 in tournament tokens and $150 in cash. He quickly pockets the money and tells his backer to throw me 20 bucks. The backer is like wtf, you just got some cash and $20 isn't enough anyway. So he begrudgingly gets Eskimo to fork over $20 of his own, and I end up with 40 bucks out it, which wasn't too bad all things considered.

Not saying I'm happy he's dead or anything, just thought it was an interesting story to share.
