Literally 0. Although define "almost immediately". Given how long this has taken that could mean a month or two, but I take it to mean like a week, in which imo we have no chance.


They are going to review each claim after the bar date, so they haven't even started to review claims yet. Though those who did not have a problem with their balance could see their money fast imo. 100% of the time we know they have way more than enough money to pay us out so I'd hope they snap pay the undisputed people. Then get to work on the rest of us who had issues.

If you have a petition and control number and your balance is correct and listed. Look pretty good to be rubberstamped through imo.

Start a new thread where you guys bash an organization that represents poker players. This garbage is about as low content as you can get NVG or anywhere else.

View: IMO, it's silly to choose to bash any individual or organization simply for not posting in this thread (or any other) on a forum. ATM, the PPA is the only organization that exists to represent the players. I don't care if they post updates every day here. I would rather they just try to get the job done they are trying to do! (they do send out weekly updates and will answer everyones email questions.) All of their time is spent doing just that. If you don't think so, please become more active in the fight. Yep, it's a fight. There are many many many mre lobby groups in Washington and across the country fighting for exactly the opposite of what would be in the players best interests. It's such an uphill fight, that its crazy.

I don't think this thread or any other has to turn into a PPA fanboy club, but just because the results aren't coming fast enough in Washngton or in anyones specific state is because the opposition is so strong. All this time, we should have been trying t make them stronger and showing more solidarity for backing them is exactly what the opposition does not want, so that's what should have been happening for the last years.

So many people have tried to help this process, and they don't post in this thread either. I personally have been talking to AFMLS since before there was even a settlement with PokerStars! I haven't been posting about all those conversations either, because none of that information is "real" until the DOJ publicly says that it is! I have been contacted by at least 5 ppl n the last month asking for specific contact information at several possible entities so they can try to use their personal clout and connections to help move the process along in our favor. None of those ppl post here either.

I get that we are all frustrated, and its been more than 2 1/2 years without our money, but that's not the fault of the PPA or anyone else other than the ppl that lied at FTP. Alienating our only allies is the worst possible solution to our problems. The only thng that accomplishes is making Sheldon Adelson and others even stronger.

Personally, I am grateful for anyone that has helped to do ANYTHING to put an end to this nightmare and help us move forward.
